— Theme — The Proper Christian Experience In a day when many pseudo-spiritual experiences are labeled as normal Christianity, we will seek to define a believer’s Christian experience from the standpoint of God’s Word being worked out in the life of God’s child. Further, while some seem to avoid any mention of the Christian’s experience as “fanciful mysticism,” we will assert that true Christianity does carry with it certain necessary marks of one being in the good fight of faith. Please join us for a time of warm pastoral fellowship as we explore this important topic. Those attending the Pastors’ Conference are urged to purchase a copy of Holiness by J.C. Ryle and read it prior to the June Pastors’ Conference. J.C. Ryle’s book has proven over the generations to be one of the clearest explanation of the nature of true holiness and the believer's battle with sin. |
