WOMEN’S RETREAT

September 17-18

Theme: Self-Evident Truths:

Living the Truth of the Word of God

Mrs. Vicki Livingston

Vicki Livingston was saved through the ministry of Westerville Bible Church in 1976. After that she was always around Peniel doing one thing or another and enjoying every moment of fellowship with whomever else was there at the time!

In 2000 the Lord called her husband, Randy, to Clearwater Christian College in Florida where he serves as VP for Financial Affairs. Vicki is an extremely busy person trying to do whatever it is the Lord leads her to do. She says, “The most challenging part of my life right now is being in the ‘retirement red zone’ and trying to keep up the energy I need in order to work full time and stay active in my local church.”

Randy and Vicki have 2 sons and 3 grandchildren. Vicki enjoys playing golf with Randy, reading, entertaining, and spending time with her grandchildren.

MEN’S RETREAT

September 24-25

Theme: Discernment:

Making Excellent Choices In An Evil Age

Dr Mark Minnick

Dr. Mark Minnick is the pastor  of Mount Calvary Baptist Church (Greenville, SC). He has an M.A. in Bible and a PhD in New Testament Interpretation from Bob Jones University. God has expanded Pastor Minnick's ministry and he is not only a pastor to his congregation, but he has become a “pastor’s pastor” to preachers around the world. The Lord continues to use Dr. Minnick's pen as well as his voice.

Pastor Minnick's philosophy of ministry places a priority on serious attention to the precise, systematic exposition of the Word of God, coupled with an emphasis on faithful, systematic community evangelism—taking the Word to the world. His passion is to seek and to display the glory of God revealed, through the Bible, in the face of Jesus Christ.

PLANNING FOR THE RETREAT

We invite you to take this opportunity to get away from the cares of the world and meet God face to face at Peniel Bible Camp. Challenging messages from God’s Word, activities, delicious meals, and opportunity for fellowship are what makes these weekend retreats so popular.

While some prefer to stay in one of our cabins (bring your own bedding), campsites are available for those who wish to bring their own tent or trailer. Those desiring to stay in a local motel (extra cost) may contact the registrar for motel information and should make their own reservations.

Check-in begins at 4:30 p.m. Friday and continues through 6:45. Three meals are included, beginning with supper at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The retreats conclude mid-afternoon on Saturday.

Registrations: There is a discount for registrations received by August 1. Women’s Retreat registrations received after September 12 and Men’s Retreat registrations received after September 17 are subject to a late fee.
