When it comes to finances, most people say, "I just can't do it." Well, think with me a minute on the Word of God. If God commanded it, then He would surely provide a way for you and me to practice Scriptural tithing and giving.

TITHING is giving to God 10% of all that He has given to us. May I add, this is both before and after death. We'll look at this in more detail later in this lesson.

GIVING is a New Testament concept of Grace. It starts where tithing stops. This too, is before and after death.

Paul said, in II Cor. 8:8, 24 that we should prove the sincerity of our love. One area in which we can outwardly display our love and sincerity is by Scriptural giving. Jesus said that it is more blessed to give than to receive. Also, notice Luke 6:38. You just can't out-give God. Take note of Proverbs 11:25, II Cor. 9:6-8. You must enact this by faith, Heb. 11:16, Proverbs 3:5-6. Tithing is probably one of the most difficult steps for a Christian. Blessed is the Christian that learns Scriptural giving; both before and after death.
